Deliberately shrouded in mystery, Zurück is a story where everyday love stories collide with things that defy explanation, pulling audiences into a world where the past simply won't stay put. Entirely in German, the film leans into a raw, atmospheric authenticity.

A Canvas for the Undiscovered: Why Fresh Faces Matter

Let’s be honest: the film industry rarely likes to take risks. Most studios and casting rooms are terrified of the unknown, preferring safe, overexposed faces over someone who actually fits the soul of a character. For me, once the script is written, finding the exact right actor for the role is the single most important element of making a film. No amount of marketing can fake genuine chemistry or raw truth on screen. That is why Zurück is built as a deliberate bet on the uncharted. We are actively looking for four exceptional, undiscovered German-speaking talents, performers who have been overlooked by mainstream circuits simply because they don't have an established name yet, but who possess the exact sincerity and magnetic presence these roles demand. I mean 3 talents... One actress has alrerady been cast. This is a massive gamble, but it’s the only way to make something real.The fog surrounding Zurück remains intentionally dense, and its deepest secrets are yet to be revealed.  Keep your senses sharp.  Manuel de Teffé
